From the Founder – Ananya Majumder

I am Ananya Majumder, the founder of I Love High Fashion Inc.

I have a dream — a big one. To build a fashion and beauty company so meaningful, creative, and empowering that people want to work here, feel proud to wear our designs, and see themselves reflected in our mission. More than that, I want to put Canada on the world map as a major fashion hub.

My journey in fashion began at just 16 years old in India, where I worked with 30 refugee women, teaching embroidery and helping them generate sustainable income. I even coordinated with local bankers to secure micro-funding, enabling these women to present their work to businesses — a moment that showed me how fashion could uplift and transform lives.

When I moved to Canada, I carried that purpose forward. I ran a home-based boutique in Indian ethnic wear, helping women celebrate both tradition and trend. Along the way, I supported two women facing homelessness and abuse — offering them temporary jobs at trade fairs, a rent-free place to stay for two months, and serving as their reference when they secured employment. My commitment to empowerment has since been recognized with two Federal and two Provincial Parliament appreciations for excellent community service.

I started ilovehighfashion.com with little more than a vision: to bring together faith, fashion, and unapologetic self-expression. I wanted to design and curate styles that not only turn heads but speak to the soul — bold pieces that celebrate individuality, purpose, and inner strength.

With over 100,000 followers across my social platforms, I quickly realized that women around the world were resonating with my vision — not just for the clothes or the glam, but for the faith-inspired message woven into everything I create.

Now, I’m taking the next leap: launching my own line of clothing and cosmetics, made with intention, inspired by faith, and designed for women who want to lead — in style, in confidence, and in purpose.
